Dr. Bonnie Stevens, RN, PhD is a Professor at the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing and Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Toronto. She is the Associate Chief of Nursing Research and Senior Scientist in the Research Institute at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). Dr. Stevens is the Director of the University of Toronto Centre for Pain and the Co-Director of the Pain Centre at SickKids. She is a Fellow of both the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences and the American Academy of Nursing.  The focus of Dr. Stevens' research is on pain in preterm infants, measurement and knowledge translation. Dr. Stevens has over 300 publications and presentations, and is a Co-Editor of the 2013 "Oxford Textbook of Paediatric Pain" (Oxford University Press) and 2007 “Pain in Neonates and Infants” (Elsevier).
