Dr Camilla Kingdon is the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) Vice President for Education and Professional Development and Co-Chair of the Scientific Committee for IPA 2021 (to be held in Glasgow).  She is also a consultant neonatologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, London (Evelina London Children’s Hospital).   She graduated at the University of Cape Town and worked in South Africa before moving to the UK.  She undertook her Paediatric training in London and has been a consultant since 2000.  She completed an MA in Managing Medical Careers at the University of Brighton in 2013.  Dr Kingdon has a number of educational roles and until recently was the Head of the London School of Paediatrics and Child Health.  She has a particular interest in medical careers and is Co-Careers Lead for RCPCH and has set up a network of careers advisors within the RCPCH to support paediatricians.
