Christine Chambers

Dr. Chambers is the Canada Research Chair (Tier 1) in Children’s Pain and Killam Professor in the Departments of Pediatrics and Psychology & Neuroscience at Dalhousie University. She is based in the Centre for Pediatric Pain Research. Dr. Chambers’ research examines the role of psychological and family factors in children’s pain, with a focus on knowledge translation, dissemination and implementation of scientific knowledge, patient engagement, and partnerships. She is the recipient of many awards for awareness, advocacy, and patient-centered innovation. Dr. Chambers was identified as one of the top 10 most productive women clinical psychology professors in Canada.
