Dr. Diva De Leon-Crutchlow

Diva D. De León-Crutchlow is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Chief of the Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes, and Director of the Congenital Hyperinsulinism Center at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. De León-Crutchlow obtained her MD degree at the University of Panama and completed her subspecialty training in Pediatric Endocrinology at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Her clinical and research expertise are in the area of pediatric hypoglycemia disorders. She has an active translational research program supported by grants from the National Institute of Health aimed at examining the pathophysiology of congenital hyperinsulinism and at developing new therapies for this condition.
