Jo Revill

Jo Revill is the Chief Executive Officer at the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.  She has had an extensive career in senior health management.  Before joining the College, Jo was CEO of  the British Society of Immunology, a membership body and Learned Society working with scientists and clinical researchers in immunology. Her career began in journalism when she worked as a health and political correspondent for the Evening Standard and the Observer newspaper, and also advised the WHO on communications strategy.   In 2008, she moved to work in government as strategic adviser to Alan Johnson, when he was Health Secretary and Home Secretary.    She has written two books on allergies and on flu pandemics.   She is also a trustee of the Science Media Centre in London.
