Dr. Reynaldo Holder specializes in health systems strengthening, organization and management of healthcare services, and competency-based training for health services managers, with almost 40 years of national and international experience. He joined the Pan American Health Organization in 2002 and has worked in Jamaica, Belize, Barbados, and at PAHO’s headquarters in Washington DC as Advisor in Hospitals and Integrated Health Care Delivery Systems until retirement in June 2017. Dr. Holder holds a Medical degree obtained in 1982; a Medical Specialist degree in Pediatric Medicine (1988); and a Master of Science in Health Services Management (2002). He is an International Associate of the American College of Healthcare Executives, a Founding Member of the International Foundation for Integrated Care, and a member of the Global Consortium for the Professionalization of Healthcare Management, a special interest group of the International Hospital Federation. Reynaldo is a citizen of the Republic of Panama.
