Sue Prullage

Council of International Neonatal Nurses
Sue Prullage is a certified neonatal nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience. She currently serves as the secretary to the Council of International Neonatal Nurses. She serves as the chair of the COINN International Neonatal Nurse Competency committee. Since 2008, she has lived and worked in Africa primarily in Rwanda as an educator and nurse practitioner. She was an educator at the University of Rwanda’s in the first MScN neonatal health program. She is still involved with the first cohort and is mentoring them in neonatal care. She conducted a survey of 47 neonatal unit in Rwanda asking the nurses to describe their orientation, what they learned, what task they did and more. When not traveling to Rwanda she works in the states as an NNP, lives with her husband and three dogs and helps care for 10 grandchildren.
